🎯 Impact: Became central communication hub for international competition submission and scientific community engagement

Overview

As the Lead Wiki Developer for the CSW-UD team in the 2024 iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine) Competition, I took full ownership of creating a comprehensive digital platform that would serve as the primary communication hub for our synthetic biology research project. This international competition brings together student teams from around the world to tackle real-world problems using synthetic biology approaches.

The Wiki serves as the central repository for our team's research documentation, experimental protocols, project methodology, safety considerations, human practices work, and public engagement efforts. Built from the ground up using modern web technologies, the platform needed to handle diverse content types while maintaining scientific rigor and accessibility standards required by iGEM judges and the global synthetic biology community.

Working closely with our research team, I translated complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging web content that effectively communicated our project's significance and methodology to both scientific audiences and the general public.
